Raising capital has never been easy. But one of the biggest challenges companies face isn’t necessarily finding investors willing to write checks.
It’s getting the opportunity to tell their story to the right audience.
I’ve spent years working with businesses, evaluating investment opportunities, structuring transactions, and speaking with entrepreneurs seeking capital.
One thing I’ve observed repeatedly is that many companies struggle to communicate their investment opportunity effectively.
Some have promising products but struggle to explain their business model. Others have experienced management teams but struggle to communicate their competitive advantages. Still others spend considerable time and money pursuing investors without first establishing a clear, compelling investment proposition.
And even companies that have done everything right face another challenge: visibility.
That’s why I’m launching Investors Move.
A Platform for Companies Seeking Capital
Investors Move is a business and investment-focused media platform designed to help companies communicate their stories, business strategies, and capital objectives.
The platform combines company interviews, business coverage, and email distribution to give participating companies additional opportunities to reach interested audiences.
Investors Move has an established audience of approximately 486,000 contacts, providing a potential distribution channel for company announcements, interviews, and other business-related content.
The objective is straightforward:
Give companies a professional platform to explain what they’re building, why it matters, and what they’re trying to accomplish.
Investors Move is not an investment bank, broker-dealer, or fundraising intermediary. We do not raise capital, arrange securities transactions, or guarantee investor introductions.
We provide media exposure and a platform for companies to communicate.
Introducing Investors Move Interviews
One of our first initiatives is a new interview series featuring executives and founders of companies seeking capital.
The format is intentionally different from traditional promotional interviews.
Rather than simply asking a CEO to deliver a sales pitch, I want to explore the questions that help people understand the underlying business.
Each interview begins with an opportunity for company leadership to introduce the business.
That is followed by a conversation examining subjects such as:
The problem the company is solving.
Its products or services.
The market opportunity.
Its business model and revenue strategy.
Progress and operating milestones.
Competitive positioning.
Management experience.
Capital requirements and intended use of proceeds.
The milestones management expects to achieve with additional capital.
The objective isn’t to make investment recommendations.
It’s to help audiences better understand the businesses being presented.
Companies participating in the interview program pay a media fee for the production and promotional services provided.
Paid participation does not constitute an endorsement by me or Investors Move, and it does not imply that an investment opportunity has been independently verified or recommended.
Why I’m Personally Conducting the Interviews
I’ve spent much of my career evaluating businesses from different perspectives—as an owner, operator, advisor, investor, and acquirer.
Those experiences have taught me that a company’s story is only one part of evaluating an opportunity.
I want to understand how the business works.
What problem does it solve?
How does it generate revenue?
What assumptions are driving management’s projections?
What could prevent the company from achieving its objectives?
And perhaps most importantly, what does the company need to do to become a stronger business?
These are the kinds of questions I intend to bring to Investors Move interviews.
I’m not interested in creating another version of Shark Tank, where the conversation ends with someone declaring whether they would invest.
The purpose is to understand the business, not deliver a verdict.
More Than an Interview Platform
While company interviews are an important part of the launch, Investors Move is intended to develop into a broader business media platform.
Companies need different ways to communicate with potential investors, industry participants, strategic partners, and other interested audiences.
Our media offerings include company interviews, newsletter exposure, and dedicated email advertising.
Over time, I expect Investors Move to feature additional business coverage, company developments, and conversations about capital markets and entrepreneurship.
The common theme will be helping audiences discover and understand businesses and the opportunities they’re pursuing.
The Importance of Investor Readiness
Visibility alone doesn’t make a company investment-ready.
A company can reach thousands of people and still fail to generate meaningful interest if its business model, financial information, capital requirements, or investment proposition are unclear.
That’s why I believe a company’s presentation quality matters.
A good interview should do more than introduce a product.
It should help explain the business behind the product.
Founders should be prepared to discuss both their opportunities and their challenges.
I believe audiences benefit more from substantive answers than from rehearsed promotional statements.
And companies benefit from learning how to communicate their business more effectively.
Building Relationships Around Business Opportunities
Another reason I’m launching Investors Move is the opportunity to develop relationships.
Throughout my career, some of the most interesting business opportunities have emerged from conversations that began with a completely different purpose.
An entrepreneur seeking capital may ultimately benefit from a strategic partner.
A business looking for investors may find that debt financing is a better fit.
A company seeking growth capital may also be a potential acquisition candidate.
And sometimes, a conversation simply leads to a valuable professional relationship.
Investors Move provides another way to begin those conversations.
My involvement in the platform is consistent with my broader business philosophy:
Advisor first. Investor second.
The objective is to understand businesses and opportunities before deciding what, if anything, makes sense.
Investors Move Is Now Accepting Interview Applications
With the platform operational, we’re starting to schedule interviews with companies that want to present their businesses to a broader audience.
We’re particularly interested in companies with a clear business model, identifiable market opportunity, and a meaningful story to tell.
Participating companies can use Investors Move to explain their businesses, discuss their capital objectives, and increase awareness through our media distribution channels.
For companies preparing to raise capital or currently conducting an offering, this can provide an additional promotional channel as part of a broader communications strategy.
It is not a substitute for proper offering documentation, securities compliance, investor due diligence, or a comprehensive capital-raising strategy.
If you’re building a company and want an opportunity to tell your story, I invite you to explore Investors Move.

I also welcome introductions from attorneys, accountants, investment professionals, consultants, and others who work with companies seeking capital.
Sometimes the first step toward a meaningful business relationship is simply having the right conversation.
